Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee university blended teaching and learning
• Oversees the development and implementation of the university’s open, distance and e-learning programmes
• Work with faculty heads of departments to stimulate, guide, and assist faculty members to use technology to improve effectiveness in teaching and learning with the LMS platform.
• Coordinate OdeL learning programmes through course development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Establish curricula and online teaching and learning materials
• Set OdeL goals and guidelines
• Organize training sessions/workshops for Open, Distance and e-learning to build capacity and for professional development.
• Supervise the recruitment of OdeL workforce.
• Conduct research to develop OdeL learning programmes
• Coordinate Open, Distance and e-learning services and staff
• Monitor OdeL operations
• Implement university policies and regulations.
