MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to the Open Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) Web page. At your own time you can go through our web page with the purpose to learn about the services we offer our students, schools, and staff at Machakos University. The ODeL team comprising of the director, 2 systems administrators and an administrator who are dedicated to blended teaching and learning and capacity building of both staff and students so as to achieve a harmonious e-Learning environment and experience. The Centre is in constant consultation with the management, ICT Department, Schools, other Departments and students in an effort to find the best innovative development in our service delivery.

Each and every ODeL student should have a strong motivation to achieve his/her personal learning goals, a desire for acquiring knowledge and believe in hard work, discipline and sincerity. We at ODeL will do our part in assisting you in achieving those set out personal learning goals. ODeL Directorate shall support you to study at your time, pace and at the comfort of your home or office.
